WHO IS IVA JOYCE?
 

I wasn't born Catholic. I was born the daughter of a Protestant minister, who, by the way, was born Catholic.

But, that's too long a story. Consequently, though, I must have had a lot of family Saints in Heaven praying for me.

At just the right time in my life, when Our Lady knew I would be most accepting, she bestowed on me a series of graces that led me to the Truth, to my Catholic Faith, and my devotion to her.

The grace that stands out the most was in the form of Fr. Malachi Martin, noted exorcist and author. I listened to his radio interviews and read his books. This led me to realize that Christ founded His one and only Church, the Catholic Church, based on the truths in the Bible and the truths that manifested in the traditions that have been handed down for centuries in His Church. Christ's teachings provide its foundation and tradition its structure.

I became a bona fide, baptized Roman Catholic in February of 1999. It was during my catechism that I learned and began saying the Rosary. My husband and I say it together nightly before going to bed. Andy is a retired Army officer. Now he flies a corporate jet. For the most part, I've been a stay-at-home mom and wife.

In this year of 2005, Andy and I will celebrate our 39th anniversary. We have been blessed with three children, four grandchildren, and a new grandbaby is to arrive in late March.

Our oldest daughter lives in France with her French husband and our four grandchildren, and the one on the way. She, also, manages to teach English one day a week to the 4th graders at the Catholic school where their two oldest children attend.

After living in Japan, our number 2 daughter is back in the U.S. teaching photography at a local college in the Cleveland area.

Now we go to Akron, OH, where our son lives less than an our drive from our home in the Greater Cleveland area. He is an audio/visual editor and, also, teaches his profession to disabled vets.

Now, back to me. I started out making mission rosaries and rosaries for some of my Catholic friends and in-laws. My husband put the bug in my ear to share my lovely rosaries with other Catholics. This web site is the result of his encouragement.

Every rosary I make is made with a deep love for and devotion to our Blessed Virgin Mother, Mary. The more rosaries I put into loving hands, the more soldiers for Christ's army against the Prince of Darkness. And everyone who visits my web site is a potential soldier for Christ.
